It is with some nostalgic regret that the decision has been made to change the long held and much loved trading name ON2DVD in favour of VIDEODESK AUSTRALIA.

Blackmagic Design today announced that both Fusion 8 and Fusion 8 Studio, the world's most advanced visual effects and motion graphics software, is now shipping and is available for download from the Blackmagic Design website for both Mac OS X and Windows.

Some fun news from Blackmagic Design today: several products including Micro Studio Camera 4K and Video Assist were used as part of the setup for Sir Elton John’s “All the Hits” World tour. Micro Studio Camera 4K and Video Assist were used to get live shots and angles of the stage, for video introductions, and to verify signals and frequency, while UltraStudio Express and two Teranex Mini HDMI to 12G-SDI models with Smart Panels were used to receive inputs from the cameras and send SDI feeds from the media server out to the stage’s giant video wall and 40 foot LED chandelier. DaVinci Resolve Studio was also used for concert production on the tour. The full press release is below:
